My wife and I were married at your beach resort four years ago and were deeply saddened after hearing of the disaster that struck the island.
Our deepest sympathies go out to all staff and families at the coconuts resort. We hope no-one was seriously hurt and wish all a hasty recovery.

Dear Richard,
Please confirm that both Lina and Jo are ok. Vivian and Alex Robertson have asked me to send their best regards. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Richard,
I was in the magnificant resort in 1996 and as we heard the horrifying news we were all shocked and very depressed.
Could you please tell us how extreme the situation at the Coconuts Beach Resort is? Some people let me know that the complete Coconuts is damaged and that nothing is left.
But we are more in worry about all people who have worked for the Resort Is Mikka well and all others?
It would be very kind of you, if you could tell me about the true situation.
Warm regards and send all our love to the people in beautiful Samoa. This tragedy hit us very deeply. Our minds are with all the people in this paradise island.

Barry,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your wife and those families in Samoa affected by the recent tragic event. If we can help in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Much Aloha,
R. & V.

Dear Richard,
We were so very pleased that the people at Coconuts are so optomistic and positive. We have stayed there 3 times during the last year, and during that time have made great friends of everyone at Coconuts.
When the details are more definite, we would certainly like to visit again, next May hopefully. In the meantime, we would like to send a small amount to help the villagers and people who have found themselves homeless. Please let me know where we could send some money.
Pencil us in for 3 weeks at the end of May! Of course, we will confirm this when you know what's going on.
Let Coconuts know we are thinking of them and hoping no-one has been too badly hurt.

All our best wishes and love
to Lina and Albert etc..etc..

Richard,
Please pass on my deepest thoughts and prayers to my friends at Cocnut Beach Club who I met when in Samoa in 2007 for the South Pacific Games. Even though I did not stay at the resort, I visited the resort whilst touring the island with a group of Track & Field officials and met up with most members of staff in restaurant, reception and aguided tour around the resort. Cannot remember their names except for Mika. We found the staff very friendly and they all looked after us.
Could you please keep me posted as to the rebuilding of the resort and let me know if there may be anything I might be able to do.

Hi Richard,
We had the pleasure in staying at Coconuts a few years ago and had a great time.We met some lovely staff and local people. My heart goes out to them at this time.
Were there people killed from the staff or any off the locals?? We went to church with Barry one Sunday and had such an emotional time it brought tears to our eyes. The local people were very warm and friendly and I hope this tragedy never took any of them.
